SEX SLAVE REHABILITATION PROJECT

Share In Asia has rescued women slave workers from prostitution from the red-light areas in Mumbai. They had sold themselves to people who gave them money to pay back their loans back in their home village.

Six sex slaves were rescued from prostitution by paying off their debts. Four went back to their hometown to live with their families. One woman took a job at the Salvation Army and Share In Asia paid her salary for 1 year. Then she became an employee of Salvation Army, Mumbai. Sadly, there was one young woman with whom we lost touch after she was rescued.
